About The Design Council

The mission of the Design council is to enhance and support the goals and programs of The Department of Architecture, Design & Graphics, one of the most innovative design departments in the United States.

Our programs include historical and contemporary design lectures in the spring and fall, salons, local and national trips, and fund-raising galas; the latter are among the most exciting events held at the Museum annually. So membership in the Design Council affords an opportunity for anyone committed to design to have fun, network with peers, support the larger design community, and increase a greater public awareness of the design arts.
